    Grease overview:

    Apiezon® grease is well-suited for cryogenic use because of its low vapor pressure and high thermal conductivity. It is often used for nonpermanent mounting and thermal anchoring of cryogenic temperature sensors as well as for lubricating joints and o-rings.

    Apiezon® N

    This general-purpose grease enhances thermal contact and provides a temporary mounting method for samples. It is pliable at room temperature and solidifies at cryogenic temperatures, which makes it easy to apply and remove the sample (without damage) at room temperature.

    Apiezon® H

    This grease will withstand temperatures up to 523 K (250 °C) without melting. It is designed for general purposes where operating temperatures necessitate the use of a relatively high melting point grease.

    Copper wire overview:

    Used to minimize heat leak into the sample and cryogenic system, cryogenic wire has a much lower thermal conductivity (and higher electrical resistivity) than common copper wire. The most common type of cryogenic wire is phosphor bronze. This wire is available in one-, two-, and four-lead configurations. Wire gauge is 32 or 36 AWG, with polyimide used to insulate the wires.

    Duo-Twist™ cryogenic wire

    It is a single twisted pair (2 leads) of phosphor bronze wire twisted at 3.15 twists per centimeter.

    Enamelled copper wire

    This enameled wire has a high-quality insulation coating, designed for low-noise signal transmission. The DC measurement noise can be lower than 0.1 fA.

    Chip carrier overview:

    Used to quickly load and unload devices for low-signal measurements at various cryogenic temperatures. The chip carrier and chip carrier socket set shown below has a shallow sample position and can be used for both electrical and optical measurements.

    J leaded Chip carrier 44 Pin

    A Leaded Chip Carrier (LCC) is a type of chip package that features metallic leads (pins). These leads are typically bent, can form good connection at cryogenic temperatures.

    This chip carrier socket works with the J leaded chip carrier 44 pin at cryogenic temperatures.

    Silver paste overview:

    DuPont 4922N is a conductive, acrylic-based, high-viscosity composition with a high metallic silver content, formulated for brush, stylus or banding application. 4922N may be used to apply bus bars, create circuit patterns, and for electrical lead attachment to transparent, conductive coatings on glass and other materials.

    DuPont 4922N

    4922N can be used for temporary lead attachment to high temperature superconductors, graphene devices, 2D devices. When dried, 4922N exhibits a volume resistance less than 100 micro-ohm-centimeter.
